About Me

Shang Liu is currently a research associate at Nanyang Technological University. He has just finished his PhD (2020-2024) in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), working with Prof. Cong Gao. Prior to NTU, he received his Master's degree (2016-2019) and Bachelor's degree (2012-2016) at the School of Remote Sensing and Information Engineering, Wuhan University (WHU). In WHU, his research was advised by Prof. Zhenzhong Chen at the Lab. of Intelligent Information Processing (IIP).

He has a wide range of research interests in Search and Retrieval-augmented AI, Spatial Data Management and Analytical Techniques, and Multimedia.
